Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Oconee County, South Carolina. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
