Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Rotating shifts.
