Steel fixing chargehand • Bracken County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Bracken County, Kentucky. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Part-time with flexible hours.
