Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Chester County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
