Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Huron County, Michigan. The job is at an infrastructure site. The role involves: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
