Punch press operator wanted in Kodiak Island Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Part-time with flexible hours.
