Now hiring: lift technician (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Nottingham, England. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
