The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Six days a week, one day off.
