Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in San Bernardino County, California. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
