Vacancy available: MIG welder (Plateau State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jos South, Plateau State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
