Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Poweshiek County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
