Site carpenter wanted in Grand Isle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Grand Isle County, Vermont. You will be based at a shopfitting company. The role involves fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
