Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Waushara County, Wisconsin. The job is in a toolroom. Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
