Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Lyon County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
