Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Nassau County, Florida. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
