Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Jackson County, Oregon. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
