Join our team: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ford County, Illinois. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. You will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; score the top of loaves before baking; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate Six days a week, one day off.
