Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Somerset, England. The job is at a power plant. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
