Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Covington County, Alabama. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Six days a week, one day off.
