Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Fayette County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
