Fabricator-welder wanted in Throckmorton County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Throckmorton County, Texas. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
