Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Kendall County, Illinois. The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
