Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Johnson County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
