Urgent requirement: long-haul driver (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Borough of Tameside, England. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. On the job you will handle: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
