Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
