Steel fixer • Abua/Odual, Rivers State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Abua/Odual, Rivers State. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On a typical shift you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
