Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a tool room. The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
