Commercial refrigeration engineer • Adams County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Adams County, Illinois. The job is at a food processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
