Great opportunity: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Douglas County, Missouri. You will work at a plant nursery. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather The role involves cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
