Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Laurens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
