Presser — Ascension Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift.
