Now hiring: we are hiring a maintenance plumber in Keokuk County, Iowa. You will be based at a sanitaryware showroom with a fitting service. On a typical shift you will detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework; install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings; install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps; carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs; make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections. What we are looking for: • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
