Room service attendant — Botetourt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a room service attendant in Botetourt County, Virginia. The job is in a café. On the job you will handle: • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Rotating shifts.
