Foundry operative • Slough, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Slough, England. Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. £2,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
