Marble fitter — Buckingham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fitter in Buckingham County, Virginia. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. On a typical shift you will cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
