Urgent requirement: sample machinist (Oregon)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Jackson County, Oregon. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Rotating shifts.
