CO2 welder wanted in Trigg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Trigg County, Kentucky. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
