Brick mason wanted in Highlands County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Highlands County, Florida. You will be based on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Full-time with occasional weekends.
