Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Grant County, North Dakota. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
