Now hiring: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Mellette County, South Dakota. The job is on a golf course. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules The role involves cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
