Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Caddo Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; season and marinate meat on request; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
