Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Crawford County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Six days a week, one day off.
