We are recruiting: shuttering carpenter (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
