Milling machinist — Santa Cruz County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
