Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Cook County, Illinois. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Share your details and we will call you back.
