Finishing presser wanted in Seward County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Seward County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off.
