Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Aleutians East Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time with occasional weekends.
