Join our team: HVAC-R technician (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in City of Norton, Virginia. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. The role involves: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
