Garment machinist wanted in Klamath County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Klamath County, Oregon. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
