Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Lancaster County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
